Tour the stately 180-year-old home “140 East” at the corner of Main and High Streets, Tiskilwa, in an open house from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 6, during Pow Wow Days. “CLASSIC RIDES” during Pow Wow Days
Here’s your annual chance to show off your favorite “wheels” for all to admire! Cruise on over to the west lawn at Tiskilwa’s Museum on Main by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6. Stay and visit as long as you’d like. Age (yours or your ride's) doesn't matter. All vehicles welcome – from cars and buggies, to tractors and trucks, to tricked-out golf carts and bicycles. This is not a competition and there’s no entry fee.
Tiskilwa Historical Society Hosts Road Trip to Lovejoy on July 10
A special tour of Princeton’s Lovejoy Homestead, designated a National Historic Landmark, will be the destination of Tiskilwa Historical Society’s annual road trip on Sunday afternoon, July 10. Anyone wishing to carpool should arrive at Tiskilwa’s Museum on Main by 1:00 on Sunday. Those who want to drive separately may meet at the Lovejoy Homestead at 1:15. Questions?
