Looking back and ahead, too . . .

The spring programs at Museum on Main are sure to offer something special for everyone's interests.

We were pleased to host a crowd of 70+ on March 11 for the Logan students' presentation: "History All Around Us." Illyana Jones, Trevyn Munson, and Caleb Johnson -- pictured here -- did a fine job of sharing their research in facts and photos.

Coming up on Monday evening April 8 at 7:00, Judy Harris of Princeton will tell the story of her grandmother's experience as a young girl who was part of the Orphan Train Movement. The Tiskilwa Public Library will co-host the event, and head librarian Becca Lorenzo has put together a display of books and DVDs available for checkout anytime.

On Monday, May 13, at 7 p.m., we'll host a program about the Underground Railroad network in this area of Illinois.
