Tiskilwa’s Concert Cancelled for September 11

The Sunday afternoon concert at Tiskilwa’s Museum on Main, scheduled for

September 11, has been cancelled due to illness. Tiskilwa Historical Society

hopes to host the “Never Too Late” band from Geneva at a future date.

The society invites the community to mark calendars for Monday evening,

October 10, at the Museum on Main. Sara Phalen will present photos with

descriptions of the recent restoration and renovation at their historic 140

East (known for more than a century as Stevens Home) on Main Street,

Tiskilwa. Her program is titled, “Accessible Preservation: A Communal Duty

to Engage.”
