Memorial Day 2022

We hosted a patriotic crowd of 80+ on a perfectly lovely Memorial Day morning. Jennifer once again did a wonderful job of organizing a touching ceremony and serving as MC. Veterans Amy Waca and Jerry Murphy placed the wreaths at our monuments to the war dead. Navy vet Mike Trench provided inspiration and insight as keynote speaker, and Jennifer & Kory's children, KJ and Kambri, closed the program with Taps on the drum and clarinet. A few folks stopped over at the Gallery on Galena before heading off to family gatherings.

TiskHistSoc thanks all the volunteers who helped to make this ceremony a success. We are proud to continue this tradition of offering our community the chance to gather and honor those who lost their lives in service to our country.
