Dirksen Program on October 11 at Tiskilwa’s Museum on Main

The Dirksen Congressional Center’s executive director, Tiffany White, will present a program on former Senator Everett Dirksen at 7:00 p.m. in the community room of Tiskilwa’s Museum on Main on Monday, October 11. A Pekin native, Dirksen rose to the highest levels of governmental influence in the 1950s and 1960s. He worked across the aisle for passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be gratefully accepted.
