WALK TISKILWA PLANS GEARING UP FOR DECEMBER 11!

As you've read here, for this year's Country Christmas, we're inviting everyone to walk along Main Street -- and beyond -- to Catch the Spirit of the holidays. Most activities and events will occur BETWEEN 9:00 and 12:00 on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11.

So far, we've heard from these participants: TISKILWA COMMUNITY CHURCH: Bake sale and rug sale with a special appearance from Santa Claus himself TISKILWA COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION: The faithful elves have lined Main Street with fir trees to be decorated by various community organizations. TISKILWA PUBLIC LIBRARY: Craft activity for kiddies DUGOSH FARMS: Produce stand with winter squash, honey, maple syrup, popcorn, and more ZIG'S STATION: Some holiday cheer will be available. TISKILWA HISTORICAL SOCIETY: An open house at both Museum on Main and Gallery on Galena with special "Tiskilwaca" exhibits of Lionel trains (in motion) and wood carvings by Bill Waca on display.

FROM 10:00 to 12:00, the TISKILWA INN will host an open house with spiced cider & cookies inside and friendly alpacas outside.

THERE MAY BE A FEW OTHER EVENTS. IF YOU (OR YOUR GROUP) ARE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING, call Cele at 815.646.4353.

Just to remind you how to Catch the Spirit, here are a couple of photos from past years.
